Elisabeth D. Brin, practices in the areas of adoption, elder law, and probate and estate planning. She specializes in same-sex adoptions, government benefits for the elderly, special needs planning and VA benefits. Ms. Brin is a VA Accredited attorney who is well versed in government benefit eligibility for all categories of persons. She is an effective advocate, navigating the disability and appeals process to get maximum benefits for her VA clients. Knowledgeable and considerate, Ms. Brin is also skilled in counseling families through the probate process after the loss of a loved one. She has a particular interest in same-sex benefits and estate planning in Michigan and assists families and individuals in the the preparation of wills, trusts and powers of attorney.
Ms. Brin was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2014 and is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association, New Lawyers Section and VA Committee, and State Bar of Michigan LGBTQA Committee.
