Kevin McGiness helps businesses, families and individuals resolve a wide variety of civil lawsuits and other disputes. Understanding the sensitivity and emotions that are present in divorce and custody matters, Mr. McGiness combines compassion with advocacy to achieve positive outcomes and advise his clients through trying times.
Mr. McGiness has been recognized as one of Michigan’s outstanding young lawyers in the area of Family Law since 2015 with a “Rising Star” designation by Michigan Super Lawyers magazine, published annually by Law & Politics.
Mr. McGiness was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2009 and was admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan that same year. He was also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan in 2010. His professional memberships include the State Bar of Michigan and the Oakland County Bar Association.
