Nahhat Inducted Into Royal Oak High School Hall of Fame

September 24, 2014

Edward M. Nahhat was inducted into the Royal Oak High School Hall of Fame on September 21. Mr. Nahhat (Class of 1979), who was the youngest inductee and served as the keynote speaker, said he was “surprised and honored” when notified he was going into the hall of fame. He earned his nomination due to his work in the community. Mr. Nahhat founded the non-profit Water Works Theatre Company in 2001 and presented Shakespeare In The Park, produced Mitch Albom’s Ernie and works as the drama coach at the high school. The ROHS Hall of Fame Committee selected inductees who have exemplified the school’s Motto: “Enter to learn, go forth to serve.”
