Our associate attorneys should have excellent communication skills (both oral and written), sound and independent judgment, able to work independently with minimal or no supervision, strong attention to detail, manage new and existing client relationships, meet appropriate deadlines and be actively involved in activities resulting in business development. Any portable book of business is welcome.

Corporate Associate: The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years’ experience in the following:

  • Drafting and negotiation of complex business transaction agreements, including all aspects of buy-sell arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, LLC’s, partnerships, shareholder agreements, non-compete and employment agreements
  • Preparing regulatory filings and governance documents, such as bylaws and capitalization plans
  • Interpretation of laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  • LLM/CPA or other tax knowledge and experience a plus.

Litigation Associate: The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years’ experience in the following:

  • Drafting and filing of pleadings for all areas of civil, employment and/or probate litigation
  • Preparation and organization of all phases of discovery
  • Excellent research and analysis skills
  • Ability to negotiate/litigate cases
  • Strategy development, including representation in various methods of Alternative Dispute Resolution
  • Appearances in circuit, civil and probate courts to successfully present oral argument and take cases from beginning stages through trial

Real Estate Associate: The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years’ experience in the following:

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial and residential real estate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, lease agreements (office, retail, industrial) and conveyance documents
  • Reviewing and resolving title and survey issues
  • All aspects of due diligence
  • Conduct closings
  • Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses
