Margaret Lindauer is a Trusts and Estates associate attorney at Kemp Klein. Margaret joins Kemp Klein after working at a boutique law firm specializing in Estate Planning and Elder Law in Northville. She is committed to guiding her clients through the design, preparation, and implementation of their estate plans. She also assists her clients with navigating their way through probate and trust administrations.
Margaret grew up in Chelsea before moving to Chicago to complete her studies. While she was in Chicago, Margaret attended DePaul University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences in Political Science. During that time, Margaret received a Fulbright Scholarship to travel to Japan, studied for a semester in London, where she worked for the Prime Minister’s office, interned in the United States Senate, and worked for a Representative in the Illinois House of Representatives, where she was recognized for her research on nuclear power plants.
After graduation, Ms. Lindauer attended the University of Illinois at Chicago Law School, where she received her Juris Doctorate. In law school, Ms. Lindauer was a member of her school’s Moot Court Team, worked for the Cook County State Attorney’s Office, Illinois Attorney General’s Office, and The Chicago Community Trust.
