Brian Jenney helps families and individuals with elder law and special needs issues as well as estate planning and administration. For those planning ahead, Mr. Jenney prepares wills, trusts and powers of attorney to ensure proper future handling of medical decisions, finances and the distribution of assets. For family members with more immediate elder care issues, Mr. Jenney can assist with guardianships and conservatorships of ailing family members. In addition, Mr. Jenney helps families work through the administration of wills and trusts, special needs trusts and the related tax issues after the loss of a loved one.
He was awarded a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University and received a Juris Doctor from the Wayne State University Law School. He also holds a Certificate of Completion in the areas of probate and estate planning issued by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) and the Probate & Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
Mr. Jenney is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and member/co-founder of the Brother Rice Warrior Bar Association. Brian is married to a physician and is the proud father of two sets of twins.
