Kemp Klein is honored to be nominated in the Troy Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards presented by Horizon Bank for the Community Impact Award. The Community Impact Award recognizes organizations and companies that are positively impacting their communities in ways that inspire integrity and respond creatively to needs in underserved communities.
Mr. Nahhat recently visited Clawson Middle School to give a speech about leadership. His speech focused on the twelve habits of great leadership.
For the fifth straight year, the attorneys and staff of Kemp Klein collaborated and crafted hand-tied fleece blankets for Common Ground’s clients. Common Ground distributes these blankets as comfort items for children, victims of trauma, homeless, and other families and individuals in need of assistance.
Amanda has joined Kemp Klein as a shareholder and will be actively involved in the estate planning, real estate, probate and trust administration, business planning, and tax planning practice groups.
The Fellows Reception honors those who support the charitable works of the OCBF. Membership in the Fellows program is evidence of professional distinction and constitutes a professional honor. The number of Fellows is limited to less than 10 percent of the total active membership of the State Bar of Michigan who practice in Oakland County.

In October, Alan May and Elizabeth May were honored at Pembroke College, Oxford during the presentation of their Sir William Blackstone Library. Sir William Blackstone was a student at Pembroke and later became its Master. Thereafter, he was the first scholar and jurist to codify the law in a topical form. Blackstone’s works became the basis for British and American students of the law learning their profession until well into the 19th Century.

Kemp Klein Attorney Edward M. Nahhat was inducted into the Royal Oak High School Hall of Fame on September 21. Mr. Nahhat (Class of 1979), who was the youngest inductee and served as the keynote speaker, said he was “surprised and honored” when notified he was going into the hall of fame.
