COMMITMENT

Everyone at Kemp Klein is encouraged to be involved in the community from hands-on volunteer opportunities to paying to participate in Casual Fridays. The contributions raised from Casual Fridays are used to fund The Kemp Klein Foundation which donates to many worthwhile organizations. By working with and giving back to our local communities, everyone succeeds.

Kemp Klein Sponsors Scarecrow Row at the Troy Historic Village

Our team worked meticulously together to craft our scarecrow based upon Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

On Monday, September 16th, 2024, Kemp Klein held the 3rd Annual Kemp Klein Foundation Charity Golf Outing at the Boulder Pointe Golf Club in Oxford, to benefit Forgotten Harvest, a charity that has been fighting hunger and food insecurity since 1990.

On behalf of The Kemp Klein Foundation, Sydney McMillan is supporting Stage Nature Centers Nature Uncorked Annual Fundraiser. The City of Troy’s nature center is operated by the Troy Nature Society, a nonprofit organization that raises funds to support the programs and outdoor activities offered at the Stage Nature Center. 

Our team worked meticulously together to craft our scarecrow based upon Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. This charity event goes towards helping the Troy Historical Society continue their mission of engaging the community and enabling life-long exploration of history by sharing and preserving the communities stories, artifacts, and buildings through creative, meaningful experiences.

The Ukrainian Children’s Aid and Relief Effort, Inc. (UCARE) funds programs that enrich the lives of vulnerable children in Ukraine with hope, love and inspiration. The event takes place June 22nd at Rammler Golf Club in Sterling Heights, MI.

The Senior All Night Party is an amazing, safe, inclusive celebration for graduating seniors. This event is made possible by sponsorships and volunteers. The event takes place June 2nd at Bloomfield Hills High School.

The Ride 2 End Suicide is an annual bicycle ride fundraiser to raise money for suicide awareness, prevention, education and counseling. This Ride brings together survivors of suicide, their families, friends, supporters and local biking enthusiasts. 

Brian Jenney, Amanda Martin and Neal Nusholtz volunteered on May 7th at the 20th Annual Senior Law Day at the Costick Activities Center in Farmington Hills, MI.

The Oakland County Bar Foundation Signature Event is the only fundraising event for their foundation. The OCBF funds many worthy non-profit organizations in order to meet its mission of ensuring access to justice and an understanding of law in our community.

Geri Hames recently visited Nicaragua on a trip with Amigos For Christ. During her trip she ran the Fuego Y Agua ultra-trail race on the island of Ometepe and helped work on a project that provides a clean water system to underserved communities.  

Kemp Klein is honored to be nominated in the Troy Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards presented by Horizon Bank for the Community Impact Award. The Community Impact Award recognizes organizations and companies that are positively impacting their communities in ways that inspire integrity and respond creatively to needs in underserved communities.

Mr. Nahhat recently visited Clawson Middle School to give a speech about leadership. The students were moved by this speech and sent a letter to show their appreciation.

For the fifth straight year, the attorneys and staff of Kemp Klein collaborated and crafted hand-tied fleece blankets for Common Ground’s clients. Common Ground distributes these blankets as comfort items for children, victims of trauma, homeless, and other families and individuals in need of assistance.

The Fellows Reception honors those who support the charitable works of the OCBF. Membership in the Fellows program is evidence of professional distinction and constitutes a professional honor. The number of Fellows is limited to less than 10 percent of the total active membership of the State Bar of Michigan who practice in Oakland County.

For the fifth consecutive year, Kemp Klein has come together to participate in Common Ground‘s Annual Adopt-A-Family Program.

Kemp Klein recently sponsored Oakland Literacy Council’s Annual Ex Libris Event. This fundraising event benefits adult literacy by funding new tutors, providing curriculum and technology for learners.​

On behalf of Kemp Klein, Brian Jenney is supporting The Mighty Gobbler 5k and 1 Mile Run / Walk. We have been a proud supporter of this event for many years.​

Kemp Klein Attorney Edward Nahhat recently visited Clawson Middle School’s Plan for Success Class and shared the story of how he is able to find a way to keep his passions as part of his life.

On Monday, August 28, 2023, Kemp Klein held the 2nd Annual Kemp Klein Foundation Charity Golf Outing at the Bolder Pointe Golf Club in Oxford, to benefit SAY Detroit, a charity that has been working tirelessly for more than 17 years to improve the lives of Detroit’s neediest citizens through shelter, food, medical care, volunteer efforts and free education.

Shakespeare Royal Oak’s “A Labor of LOVE!” annual fundraiser is taking place on Thursday, June 29th, from 6-9 pm at Royal Oak Farmers Market located at 316 E. 11 Mile Road in Royal Oak.

Kemp Klein was proud to sponsor The Learning Experience’s Annual Top Golf Outing to Benefit Make-A-Wish. The event took place on April 23rd 2023 from 5 to 8pm at Top Golf of Auburn Hills, 500 Great Lakes Crossing Drive, Auburn Hills, MI 48326.

On behalf of Kemp Klein, Brian Jenney is supporting the 2023 90 & Beyond Celebration Luncheon by The Community House Birmingham. Mr. Jenney has sponsored this event in the past and remains an active supporter of the Community House Foundation.

The attorneys and staff of Kemp Klein have come together to craft hand-tied fleece blankets for Common Ground’s clients. This is the fourth blanket making event that Kemp Klein has held.

On Monday, September 19, 2022, Kemp Klein held its Inaugural Charity Golf Outing at the Links of Novi, to benefit Forgotten Harvest, a charity that has been fighting hunger and food insecurity since 1990.
