Kelly Draper brings more than 35 years of experience as a legal secretary and paralegal. Prior to joining Kemp Klein, she worked for a sole practitioner whose general practice encompassed civil litigation, probate and estate administration, estate planning, family law, criminal law, real estate, and corporate matters. Her responsibilities included forming corporations and limited liability companies—creating and updating minute books, bylaws, stock transfer agreements, stock certificates, and operating agreements—as well as handling payroll and preparing quarterly employment tax payments.
Kelly joined Kemp Klein in 2017, supporting attorneys in probate and trust litigation and decedent estate administration. More recently, she has been assigned to attorneys whose practices focus on estate planning. In this role, she assists with drafting pleadings, preparing and filing court documents, tracking critical deadlines, collecting and organizing assets, preparing estate planning documents, and drafting and filing deeds and required property transfer documentation with local assessors.
