Suzan Gabbara represents clients in divorce, custody, business matters (including liquor licensing), criminal defense, and immigration matters. Ms. Gabbara is fluent in English, Arabic, and Aramaic, and is also able to communicate in German.
Ms. Gabbara has represented clients in multiple counties throughout the State of Michigan, as well as in other states. She is admitted to practice before immigration courts, which permits her to appear in any immigration court in the United States.
Ms. Gabbara is also an adjunct professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she teaches the Criminal Trial Clinic and supervises students in court.
Suzan Gabbara has been selected by her peers for inclusion in Super Lawyers® 2025 for her work in Criminal Defense, Family Law, and Immigration. She was previously selected as a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers beginning in 2017.
Ms. Gabbara was also selected by peer vote for inclusion in DBusiness magazine’s list of Top Lawyers as a 2025 Top Lawyer in Criminal Defense and a 2026 Top Lawyer in Immigration Law.
